The Brief

Origin
Arumat hails from the planet Eldar, and was the Captain of the 13th Independent Armored Division. However, a mysterious force called "Phantoms" (more comparable to highly intelligent monsters) in spaceships wiped out his entire division when he was 17. Then later on, those same monsters did the same to his homeplanet, by accelerating the destruction of Eldar's sun, and forced an evacuation of his people into space. The Phantoms lay in wait, ambushing his fleeing people, killing off a majority of them at the time. He only survived both times with the Phantom menace due to a miracle. He later joins the party in their crusade against the Phantoms and Grigori to save the universe.
